In the heart of Gothenburg's events district, Balder will build approximately 340 new apartments along with a number of commercial units. With Ullevi, Scandinavium and Bergakungen as neighbours, residents will not have far to go for summer concerts, winter hockey matches or autumn trips to the cinema.
The building will create a new silhouette for Gothenburg, with its tallest tower rising 20 storeys. This, together with the central location, will place high demands on construction logistics to keep the project running smoothly.
In total, 25,000 sqm of gross floor area (GFA) will be built, with an attractive courtyard and a garage in the basement.The foundation for a good construction process is laid already during the design phase, and here Akuro has a very important role to play.
